We offer 150+ training courses for California-based caregivers through the state's Career Pathways and CalGrows training programs. If you're an IHSS caregiver participating in Career Pathways or if you're a paid caregiver participating in CalGrows, you're eligible to take our training classes and receive payment for successfully completing courses!

Types of Training

We offer 3 different types of training formats: online instructor-led, online self-paced, and in-person instructor-led.

Training with Homebridge

Homebridge is a SF-based non-profit that has trained and managed homecare workers for over 30 years. We are offering training to eligible California caregivers participating in either the Career Pathways or CalGrows programs.

Languages

We offer training courses in: English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Armenian.

All of our training courses fall under one of these training categories:

General Health and Safety
Adult Education
Cognitive Impairments and Behavioral Health
Complex Physical Care Needs
Transitions to In-Home Care

Compensation

Homecare providers participating through Career Pathways or CalGrows are eligible to receive compensation for completing trainings with Homebridge, through:

Completing individual training courses
Qualifying for bonus payments upon completing select numbers of training hours.

Please note that dedicated claims teams at CDSS and CalGrows handle all payments to providers based on course completions and eligibility. While Homebridge provides weekly course completion records to our CDSS and CalGrows counterparts, we are unable to provide direct payment support.
